Taking charge of your thoughts.

Disappointing,  erroneous and negative thinking.

Do you let your mind wander to negative thoughts? Check.
Do you rehash bad memories of the past? Check.
Do you allow erroneous and damaging thoughts to invade your mind? Check.
Are you allowing a perp to camp out in your mind as the crime continues? Check.
Are you judging yourself and beating yourself up? Check.
Is the worm of discontent wiggling through your gray matter? Check.
I have two words for you,
“Stop it.”
Many do all of the above. Such is the human condition.  Can you imagine being at a cinema and supernaturally all your thoughts  were projected onto the screen in stereo sound and technicolor? Wow, that would be uncomfortable.

What do these thoughts do to you?
Make you grumpy?
Put you in a bad mood?
Are you, in fact, projecting without the screen?
Do you tread carefully around people who are in this mindset?
Even worse, do you wonder what “you” did to upset them?
Nasty business egh?

Well dear Brudder’s and Sista’s I have some good news for you.
Focus on and unpack the following:

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

2 Cor 10:5

Your prescription:
When you realize you are going to “that place” remember to “take captive every  thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
Take this pill for the next 21 days and see if your life changes.
K?

You just may become a different person in Christ.  People will say, who are you? I don’t recognize you… You will feel great.
Amen.

Sermon over!
Be well, do good works, and for the sake of God, love one another.
~Fr. Nigel Mumford+

Ps. If you take this prescription please let me know the efficacy of this product!

I think this is such a great way of putting it, as you also did at the conference here in Lufkin. I think the way you put it was allowing the bad things to live in our minds rent-free. Things are so much better w/o those things staying with us! Grace Ann Date: Tue, 18 Jun 2013 12:22:25 +0000 To: pryorwilson@hotmail.com
