Suffering.

Suffering
A close friend who once again is going through medical issues said to me today,
I’m fine in my spirit for which I completely thank God. Amazing really. After all these different bouts of suffering the refiners fire doesn’t get any cooler!
Refiners fire…..hmmmm. a friend had picture for me about gold being beaten out so finely it became gold leaf that could be finely put into the tiniest nooks & crannys…….lovely thought.
There IS a sense to suffering.
It is what we do during the suffering and what we do after the suffering that is important. Christ suffered that we might have life and life abundant. If you are suffering invite the Lord deep within the forming scar tissue. Allow your emotions to have their say with the right prayer partners. Sometimes we need to express what is going on!
The woman in the Gospel of Mark 5 touched the very hem of the robes of Christ. She expressed herself in silence and humility with an act of extreme courage.
To suffer means to endure.
If you endure something you suffer through it… you press on through the aridity and disenchantment. You press on in the depression. You press on in the pain and frustration. With Gods help. You are not alone.

AMEN…The flesh was not redeemed on the cross but the spirit that we may be called the Sons and daughters of the Father, the brethren of His Son, our Savior. The Lord can heal the flesh but not simply for the sake of the flesh, it is appointed to die.He walked in it, He knows its frailty and He shares in our suffering as we should with compassion and empathy one for the other. And we suffer in its bondage but with His grace we endure for we have a higher, eternal hope and promise and Healer that for His good purpose can allow suffering for our edification and heal us with but a sigh!! Praise and Glory to our King, Jesus

I really needed this today. It was a month ago yesterday that my mother passed away. Things are so very complicated in a variety of directions at present. My daddy passed away 15 months ago. There is no doubt that this was what was meant to happen in the Lord’s plan but at present, after caring for them for nearly 7 years very intently so they could stay at home, I am wondering what the Lord has planned for me now. I know what my heart’s desire is but very much need some confirmation—some encouragement in that area. Presently it is just sort of a sense of being very much alone but not from God. Thank you for the reminders and do keep me in your prayers.
